Class of 2024: A Homecoming Full of Emotion, Achievements, and Gratitude
In May, Escola Internacional de Alphaville experienced a special moment of celebration and connection with the alumni of the class of 2024, in an event full of meaning, memories, and emotion.
More than just a simple get-together, the reunion was an expression of the school’s affection, pride, and ongoing commitment to its students, even after graduation. In a welcoming and delightfully relaxed atmosphere, with pizza shared among friends and staff, the school once again became the stage for unforgettable reunions and touching tributes.
During the ceremony, alumni officially received their IB Diploma Certificates, the Janelas Para o Futuro (Windows to the Future) program certificate, and a personalized gift, carefully designed to symbolize the lasting bond between the school and each of them. This gesture represents not only recognition of academic achievements, but also our deep dedication to the success and well-being of our students.
Moving speeches and words of affection marked the evening, highlighting the impact this class has had on the school community and the pride in seeing them embark on a new phase of life at renowned universities in Brazil and abroad.
The Class of 2024 event was, above all, a celebration of the stories that began within our school and are now conquering the world. And for us educators, there is no greater joy than seeing our students shine beyond the school walls, certain that they will always have a place to return to. They set off on new journeys, but they carry with them the lessons, bonds, and memories they have built at this school, which will always remain a safe haven, a reference point, and a place where they belong.
Celebrating Achievement: Mathématiques Sans Frontières Certifications
It is with great pleasure that we announce our High 3 students from Escola Internacional de Alphaville, who participated in Mathématiques Sans Frontières, have received their certifications! This recognizes their dedication and effort in this prestigious international competition.
Mathématiques Sans Frontières is a unique challenge focusing on logical reasoning, creativity, and, crucially, teamwork. It goes beyond traditional math, requiring students to collaborate for solutions. A distinctive feature is a question presented in a foreign language, encouraging linguistic proficiency alongside numerical skills.
Obtaining these certifications highlights our students’ mathematical talent and their ability to work as a team and adapt to complex challenges. These are essential skills the Escola Internacional de Alphaville proudly fosters.

Learning that nourishes!
As part of our Unit of Inquiry “Who We Are,” we had the pleasure of welcoming Juliana, a nutritionist and mother of a Juniors 5 student.
During her visit, the children engaged in a light and meaningful conversation about healthy eating, the different food groups, and how nutrition is closely connected to caring for our bodies and overall well-being.
Experiences like this enrich school life, connecting students to the real world through valuable interactions with our school community.

ISP – Artists (ILOS)
Kids 5 students embarked on a beautiful artistic journey as part of the ILOS (International Learning Opportunities) program, which connects ISP schools around the world. This second edition of the project was themed “Love for Nature.”
Throughout this experience, they explored colors, shapes, and textures inspired by flowers, leaves, animals, and natural landscapes. Using paint, collages, and a variety of materials, they expressed their love for the planet in a creative and heartfelt way.
It was truly moving to see how, through art, the children learned about respect, care, and admiration for nature. A genuine invitation for all of us to look at the world with more love and responsibility.
Leadership in Action: J4 students propose representation for improvements in everyday school life
We are delighted to highlight a significant initiative led by J4 students. Lucca, Jorge, Paula, and Sofia spontaneously approached the pedagogical coordination team to present a proposal: to create a group made up of representatives from different classes, with the aim of contributing suggestions to make everyday school life even better.
The group organized itself autonomously, distributed responsibilities among its members, and structured the proposal with clarity and commitment. After the presentation, some of the suggestions have already been accepted and put into practice, while others are still being evaluated by the pedagogical team and teachers.
The initiative reinforces the importance of encouraging students’ active participation in building the school environment. We congratulate those involved for their engaged attitude, sense of responsibility, and example of collaboration, which will certainly inspire other colleagues.
