Aprendiendo con sabor

As part of the Who We Are inquiry unit, the students went to the school kitchen and enjoyed making a delicious strawberry smoothie. They mixed ingredients, tasted, and savored every moment of this hands-on activity in Spanish. Learning through play, sharing time with classmates, and reflecting on the importance of healthy eating made this experience even more meaningful.

Como parte de la unidad de indagación Quiénes Somos, los alumnos fueron a la cocina de la escuela y se divirtieron preparando una deliciosa vitamina de fresa. Mezclaron ingredientes, probaron y disfrutaron cada instante de esta actividad práctica en español. Aprender de manera lúdica, compartir momentos con los compañeros y reflexionar sobre la importancia de una alimentación saludable hicieron que esta experiencia fuera aún más significativa.

Maquetes – Juniors 5

The Junior 5 classes created various models to represent their inquiry into the rights and responsibilities involved in the use and sharing of natural resources with other people and living beings. The projects, made with materials reused each year, encouraged reflections on the relationship between humans and their environment. Throughout the process, students explored themes such as responsible consumption, nature conservation, and collective responsibility, developing a deeper and more concrete understanding of these concepts.

Ndebele Artwork — Kids 5

Throughout this term, during the Unit of Inquiry classes, Kids 5 students worked on a very special project about Ndebele art. This vibrant African cultural expression is seen in architecture, wall paintings, and other settings. This tradition stands out for its use of bold colors, geometric patterns, and murals that decorate houses, serving as a form of communication and identity among people.
