Sports training

Sports training in schools plays a fundamental role in the physical, mental and social development of teenagers. At this stage of life, the body undergoes constant transformations, and regular sports practice contributes to building a solid foundation of health over the years. More than just physical exercise, school sport boosts self-confidence, improves social skills and has a positive impact on academic performance.

During the teenage years, significant changes occur, such as bone and muscle growth. Sports training strengthens bones, muscles and joints, helping to prevent injuries and improve posture.

At Escola Internacional de Alphaville, our Teens and High School students take part in intensive basketball, soccer and volleyball training. The sessions focus on technical and tactical development, as well as reinforcing team spirit. The students’ commitment and progress are visible at every training session, and the energy on the courts is contagious!

We thank the parents and guardians for their continued support. Together, we are building a motivating and healthy sporting environment for our students.

Let’s keep encouraging our young athletes to always give their best!

Swimming for Babies

Swimming is an activity that offers numerous benefits for children’s health and development, and its introduction from the earliest years of life can be especially valuable. It stimulates young children’s motor development. From the first months of life, babies begin to explore the aquatic environment, which helps to strengthen their muscles and improve motor coordination. The movements performed in the water, such as floating, kicking, and swimming, promote muscle strengthening and the development of agility.

Teaching babies to swim from an early age is an important measure for water safety. Becoming familiar with water can reduce fear and increase children’s confidence in aquatic environments. Furthermore, learning to float and move in the water can be crucial in emergency situations, helping to prevent drowning.

Swimming lessons provide a social setting where babies can interact with other children and adults. This interaction is fundamental for social and emotional development, helping little ones learn about teamwork, respect, and empathy. Group activities also promote the building of emotional bonds and friendships.

Swimming is a multifaceted activity that offers a wide range of benefits for babies. By incorporating swimming lessons into schools, we are not only promoting physical health, but also contributing to children’s social, emotional and cognitive development.

An important point is that you don’t have to be a student at the school to take part. Swimming lessons for babies are offered to the general public! If you’re interested, get in touch to find out more!

Futsal (indoor soccer)

As well as being a fun physical activity, futsal classes offer a range of benefits that contribute to the students’ all-round development. Classes promote physical development, improving endurance, motor coordination, agility and strength. Regular practice of this sport helps to combat sedentary lifestyles and contributes to cardiovascular health and muscle strengthening. In addition, futsal is an activity that can be practiced by students of different ages and skill levels, making it accessible to everyone.

Futsal is a team sport that requires collaboration and communication between players. During lessons, students learn to work as a team, respect the rules and value the role of each member of the group. These social skills are fundamental to their personal and professional development, preparing them for future interactions in a variety of contexts.

Futsal requires discipline and concentration. Students need to follow the rules of the game, pay attention to their teacher’s instructions and stay focused during matches. These skills are transferable to the school environment, where concentration and discipline are essential for learning and academic success.

The classes also promote healthy competitiveness. Students have the opportunity to take part in games and tournaments, where they can test their skills and learn to deal with winning and losing. This experience is valuable for emotional development, as it teaches resilience and the importance of hard work.

Futsal is an inclusive sport that can be played by everyone, regardless of skill level. Classes are a great opportunity for students to have fun, make new friends and feel part of a community. Fun is a crucial element in keeping students engaged and motivated to take part in physical activities.

Futsal classes in schools are much more than just a physical activity; they play a fundamental role in students’ all-round development. By promoting physical, social and emotional skills, futsal contributes to the formation of healthier, more disciplined young people who are prepared to face life’s challenges. It is therefore essential that schools recognize the importance of this sport and include it in their educational proposals.

Futsal classes at Escola Internacional de Alphaville are offered to children from the age of 2! Together, let’s encourage our students to get moving and have fun with futsal!

Jazz class

At Escola Internacional de Alphaville, jazz classes are far more than just dance sessions; they are experiences that inspire creativity, boost self-esteem, and develop skills that go beyond movement. During the lessons, students explore dynamic and challenging choreographies, enhancing their coordination, balance, and flexibility.

Jazz, with its contagious energy, allows each student to discover a unique form of expression. Through steps and gestures, they learn to communicate emotions, tell stories, and even overcome personal challenges. This artistic practice encourages focus and discipline—qualities that extend into the school environment and everyday life.

In addition to the physical benefits, jazz classes foster a collaborative and inclusive environment. Group work encourages respect for differences and a spirit of teamwork, creating bonds that strengthen the school community. The exchange of experiences and interaction with peers through playful and creative activities make jazz classes a welcoming space for everyone.

Come and be part of this musical and transformative journey! Jazz classes are an excellent opportunity to develop talents, ignite a passion for dance, and, above all, have fun while learning.
